Energy has been in focus for Dantherm and the World since the oil crisis in the 1970's. At this time demand for the air heaters, that were the foundation of Dantherms business, fell away and we invested heavily in heat recovery and heat pump technology. Our products and expertise have been improving since this time, and we are now globally recognised experts in the field of energy recovery.
In the UK our focus and experience has always been to find the optimal technical and economic solutions for swimming pools and leisure facilities in respect to consuming the absolute minimum energy as possible.
Energy consumption and energy reduction is at its highest ever focus in the UK and we now apply our expertise to older leisure centres; particularly those that were designed when energy was cheap, or those that have not been maintained and performance has deteriated.
