Commissioning:
A Dantherm engineer checks that your system is correctly installed and in accordance with the original design brief. Electrical connections, safety and mechanical functions are tested followed by a complete functional and performance test. Standard tests and calibrations procedure are run and results recorded to establish the basis for future plant performance analysis. This also ensures the equipment is performing to original design specification and exactly matches your requirements.
Service Agreements:
Regular maintenance and inspection checks have been proven to be the most effective way to prolong the life of your investment and reduce running cost. We can offer a range of service agreements, from complete support of your system to a simple routine performance check & calibration of controls, all carried out by well-equipped, factory trained service engineers. Spares can either be included within the contract or the customer can supply parts.
Breakdown & Repair Service:
If you choose not to have regular service or if you do your own maintenance, then in the unlikely event of a breakdown we can offer telephone support or dispatch an engineer to your site.
We can also supply you with Dantherm approved spare parts or spare part kits.
Performance Analysis:
This Dantherm service engineer checks system performance against original design specification. This can often be carried out with little or no impact upon routine operation. It is suited to systems where down time is critical, or operating efficiency is paramount.
Refurbishment and Upgrades:
For example, a swimming pool dehumidifier is subjected to a particularly corrosive atmosphere and where maintenance has not been considered a critical expenditure, instead of replacing the entire plant we can offer a full refurbishment service. This will normally be at a significantly lower cost than a new ventilation unit.
As new features becomes available, many existing systems can often be upgraded. This not only prolongs the useful life of your investment, but also allows you to take advantage of the latest technology developments.
Remote monitoring:
With the DanLink tele-monitoring system installed the site will automatically call up our surveillance centre when a warning, a fault or an alarm occurs. The information from the site can help determine the condition of the site as well as give a clear indication of the actual fault. The engineers at the surveillance point can try to rectify the fault remotely or change the set-points of the climate unit so that the temperature can be kept within an acceptable range until an engineer can reach the site.
The information from DanLink also gives the engineers information about the spare parts they should bring and, of course, the urgency of the situation can also be determined.
Training of on site maintenance personnel:
To ensure that resident engineers or other staff responsible for overseeing mechanical services plant fully understand the operating principles of Dantherm equipment and controls, Dantherm can provide on site training courses tailored to the users' requirements. As we establish an awareness of the system operation this can reduce the need for service engineer call outs or enable the engineers to be prepared with any necessary components when they attend site.
Warranty:
Dantherm equipment is warranted for 12 months from the time it is installed, or 36 months if you take out a service agreement with Dantherm. On site labour, travel and parts are covered, but as with most equipment we do suggest that a performance check and inspection is carried out during this period. Our commitment to customer service is such that we offer this performance check free of charge during the first 6 months of the warranty period.
